Kindred spirits

We love Anne of Green Gables! Even the boys enjoyed watching it. Although I am sure A would adamantly deny it at this point in his life. Anyway,I love it when we can get together with people of a like mind and spirit. This happened Thursday. We had dinner at a friend's house with 3 other couples, and one single gentleman. It was so refreshing to be able to sit and talk and laugh and not have to be on edge about where the conversation might go. Our kids played wonderfully. We had a combined total of 20 kids! A few were away at camp. But what fun they all had. It was especially nice that there was one boy there the same age as A. He is usually the oldest and easily tires of kid games, one of the downfalls of only having 3 kids...lol...

I am grateful for the people that God has placed in my life. He is so good to me.

Sounds like a great evening! I love too when we find others in the same "shoes" we're in. :)

Anne of Green Gables is MY all time favorite and yes, what a blessing to have kindred spirits. We so have enjoyed getting to know your precious family and look forward to more times together.
